General: Second-year player… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program… a talented quarterback who will seek to vie for playing time for the Gorillas this fall… In 2022: Redshirt season… In High School: A first-team TAPPS Division I All-State selection at quarterback as a senior at Houston’s St. Thomas Catholic High School… completed 227 of 317 passes (.716) for 3,750 yards and 43 touchdowns with just one interception, passing for 340.1 yards per game… also a first-team All-District performer for the Eagles… broke school records for passing yards and passing touchdowns… leading passer in the state of Texas following end of the 2021 regular season… Personal: Born September 25, 2003… son of Brian and Laura Wright… has a 3.68 GPA as a recreation services, sport & hospitality management major.
