Darren Dawson (1988-91)

Darren Dawson finished his career in 1991 as the school's all-time leading rusher. Dawson rushed for 4,565 yards (including playoffs) and 61 touchdowns, twice earning NCAA Division II All-America honors in the Pitt State backfield. Dawson was an honorable mention All-America selection as a junior in 1990 when he rushed for 1,415 yards and 18 touchdowns. He earned second-team All-America honors as a senior in 1991 when he rushed for a school record 1,698 yards and 22 touchdowns. Additionally, Dawson earned second-team GTE Academic All-America honors as a senior in 1991.
Don Frank German (1941-42, '46-47)

Don German earned All-Central Intercollegiate Conference honors as a halfback three times during a collegiate career which was interrupted by three years of military service during WWII. German earned honorable mention All-CIC accolades as a sophomore in 1942, before returning to campus to earn first-team All-CIC honors his final two years in 1946-47. In 1953, German was named to Pittsburg State University's prestigious 11-man 50th Anniversary Football Team.
Christie (Allen) Logue (1989-93)

Christie Allen finished her cross country and track & field career as the school's most-decorated athlete all-time. Allen won an unprecedented eight NCAA Division II national championships during her four-year career, including two individual cross country titles. She won national titles in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track in the same academic year in both her junior and senior season. Allen also finished her collegiate career with 14 MIAA individual titles -- two in cross country ('91-92). Additionally, she was named the Division II Woman Athlete of the Year in 1993 and received an NCAA Today's Top VI Award that
year. She also was a two-time first-team GTE Academic All-American.
Dani (Fronabarger) Robinson (1990-93)

Dani Fronabarger finished her career in 1993 as the school's all-time leading scorer and rebounder, tallying 1,687 points and 705 rebounds. Fronabarger twice earned honorable mention Kodak All-America honors. She received the accolades as a sophomore in 1990-91 when she averaged 17.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Fronabarger again received the honors as a senior in 1992-93 when she averaged 16.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. She also was a three-time first-team All-MIAA selection and was named the MIAA Player of the Year as a junior in 1991-92. Additionally, Fronabarger twice earned GTE Academic All-America honors.
Troy Wilson (1989-92)

Troy Wilson finished his career in 1992 as a three-time NCAA Division II All-American at defensive end for the Gorillas. Wilson was an honorable mention All-America selection as a sophomore in 1990. He then earned second-team All-America honors as a junior in 1991 when he recorded 104 tackles with a school record 23 quarterback sacks. Wilson earned first-team All-America honors his senior season when he recorded 112 tackles with 32 tackles-for-loss and 14 quarterback sacks. He finished his career with 317 tackles and 45 quarterback sacks. Wilson also was a three-time NCAA-II All-American in the shot put and discus in track & field at PSU.
