Men's Track & Field / Cross Country All-Americans
Track and Field/Cross Country All-Americans are chosen slightly differently than many other sports. Rather than different levels or “teams“ of various athletes selected by a panel of voters, athletes earn All-America honors by their individual finishing place at the National Championship – specifically a top 40 finish in cross country (top 25 prior to 2010), a top 8 finish in indoor track & field (top 6 prior to 2001) or a top 8 finish in outdoor track & field.
