First-year player… transferred to Pitt State from Cowley College... a talented pitching prospect... will look to compete for mound time this spring.

In Junior College:  Spent two seasons at Cowley College… made 11 appearances, including two starts, for the Tigers… posted a 5.40 ERA in 15.0 innings of work… struck out eight batters on the year.

In High School:  A four-year letterman at Arkansas City High School… a standout performer for the Bulldogs during his prep career.

Personal:  Born July 27, 1992... son of Darren and Carolyn Burroughs… has a 3.96 GPA as an information systems major.
