Biography

Second-year player… a veteran pitcher with good experience… expected to impact the Gorillas pitching staff from the bullpen again this spring.
 
In 2012: Made 10 pitching appearances for the Gorillas… recorded six strikeouts in 12.0 innings of work.

In Junior College:  Competed two seasons at Labette CC... posted a 7-4 record with a 5.18 ERA as a sophomore in 2011.

In High School:  A three-time All-Southeast Kansas League performer at Parsons High.

Personal:  Born September 5, 1990... son of Wes and Paula Cares... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.18 GPA as a construction management major.
