Biography

General - Completed his third season in the Pitt State program in 2025 as an experienced arm.

2025 - Redshirted.

2024 - Picked up a win against East Central (Feb. 2) going five innings with seven strikeouts and no walks while opponents hit .222 before an injury ended his season.

2023 - Started seven of the 13 appearances he made on the mound for a 0-1 record in 34.2 innings of work ... Finished the season with 42 strikeouts and opponents hitting .313 against him.

Prior to PSU - Spent two seasons at Pratt Community College … Made 13 appearances on the mound, including four starts, in 2022 … Posted a 6-5 record with one save and 74 strikeouts in 67.0 inning of work … Also batted .342 with 12 doubles, nine home runs and 42 RBI for the Beavers.

HS - A Kansas Class 5A All-State performer in both baseball and basketball at Salina South High School … A three-year starter on the diamond for the Cougars.

Personal - Born February 5, 2002 … Son of Rob and Krista Long … A three-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a 3.40 GPA ... Completed a bachelor's degree in general studies and at the conclusion of the 2024-25 school year was working on obtaining a master's degree in human resource development.
