Kody Sindelar

Kody Sindelar is in his fourth year as an assistant coach in the Pittsburg State University baseball program in 2026. He serves as the Gorillas pitching coach.

Sindelar came to Pitt State in 2023 after serving as an assistant coach at MIAA rival Fort Hays State University for one season. Prior to FHSU, Sindelar served seven years as an assistant coach at Cloud County Community College (2015-21).

The Grand Island, Neb., native also served as a strength and conditioning coach for the Tampa Bay Rays organization for the 2007 and 2008 seasons. After one season as an assistant coach at Tarleton State Univerity in 2009, he also spent five seasons (2010-14) as pitching coach for Grand Island Home Federal Legion.

Sindelar played collegiately at Cloud County and Fort Hays State. He helped the Tigers make an NCAA Division II National Tournament appearance in 2005. Sindelar earned a bachelor's degree in health and human performances from FHSU in 2007.
