Pittsburg State Gorillas

Second-year player… a talented right-handed pitcher... figures to see significant action on the mound again for the Gorillas this spring.
 
In 2012: Appeared in 13 games for the Gorillas, all in relief…posted a 1-2 record with three saves and a 4.38 ERA in 24.7 innings of work…recorded 18 strikeouts on the season… earned his first win with 4.3 innings of two-hit relief vs. Washburn (Mar. 12).

In Junior College:  Spent two seasons at Allen County CC… posted a 3-2 record with 37 strikeouts as a sophomore in 2011... posted a 3.58 ERA with 28 strikeouts in 2010.

In High School:  An honorable mention Kansas Class 3A All-State performer at Baxter Springs High... also a two-time first-team All-League performer... helped the Lions to consecutive state titles from 2006-07.

Personal:  Born December 30, 1990... son of Chuck and Mieann Wren... a justice studies major.
