Biography


Fourth-year player... a talented right-handed pitcher... battled injury early in his career… looking to contend for mound time this spring.
 
In 2013: Appeared in two games out of the bullpen… threw 2.7 scoreless innings.
 
In 2012: Started six games… posted a 1-3 record with an 8.16 ERA in 28.7 inning of work, before shutting down with a season-ending injury… tossed a complete-game seven-hit shutout in a 4-0 victory over Lincoln (Mar. 4).
 
In 2011: Made 11 pitching appearances... registered seven strikeouts in 12 innings of work... posted an 0-1 record... also started two games in the outfield.

In High School: A three-year starter at Lee’s Summit North High... helped the Broncos to the Missouri Class 6A state runner-up finish as a junior in 2009... also a stand-out football player at North.

Personal: Born May 20, 1992... son of John and Rosemary Ulrich... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.33 GPA as a nursing major.
