Pittsburg State Gorillas

Second-year player... a talented right-handed pitcher... expected to challenge for significant mound time either as a starter or out of the bullpen for the Gorillas this spring.
 
In 2012: Appeared in 12 games, including five starts…posted a 1-2 record with a 6.67 ERA in 27.0 innings of work…recorded 11 strikeouts on the season… scattered three hits in five innings of shutout work to earn his first win for the Gorillas vs. Bacone (Apr. 17).

In Junior College: Played two seasons at Johnson County CC... helped the Cavaliers to the Jayhawk Conference East title as a freshman in 2010.

In High School: A Kansas Class 4A All-State performer as a senior at Ottawa High in 2009... posted a 7-0 record with 75 strikeouts, helping OHS to a 17-3 record and a third-place finish at the 4A state tournament... a three-time All-Frontier League selection.

Personal: Born November 16, 1990... son of Curt and Patti Moore... a recreation major.
