First-year player… an outfielder for the Gorillas… transferred to Pitt State from Kansas State University… At KSU: Played four seasons for the Wildcats (2018-2021)… saw action in 13 games (five starts) as a junior in 2021… hit .143 on the season… hit .209 with a double, a home run and five RBIs in 39 games played… In High School: A MaxPreps High School All-America selection as a senior at Maize South High School in 2017… helped South to three state tournament appearances, winning the Kansas Class 4A state title in 2017… a three-time All-State selection and the Kansas Class 4A State Player of the Year his senior season… Personal: Born Aug. 26, 1998… son of Carl and Kim Maxson… earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from K-State… posted a 3.66 GPA in his first semester pursuing a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Pitt State.
