Pittsburg State Gorillas

Second-year player... a talented left-handed pitcher... coming off an All-MIAA junior season… expected to lead the Gorillas pitching staff again this spring.
 
In 2012: Appeared in 14 games, including 12 starts…posted a 7-6 record with a 3.74 ERA and one save in 77.0 innings of work… led the MIAA in strikeouts per nine innings pitched (10.75)… garnered honorable mention All-MIAA honors… recorded a season-high 12 strikeouts in seven innings of work in a win vs. Sioux Falls (Feb. 27)… allowed two or fewer earned runs in eight of his 12 starts.

In Junior College: Spent two seasons at Allen County CC... a stand-out pitcher for the Red Devils.

In High School: A second-team Kansas Class 4A All-State performer at Wellington High as a senior in 2009... posted a 6-2 record with a 0.25 ERA his senior year... a three-year starter.

Personal: Born July 6, 1990... son of Bill and Given Stalcup... a recreation major.
