Biography

First-year player… transferred to Pitt State after one season at Oklahoma Christian University… also attended Labette Community College… expected to contend for action behind the plate for the Gorillas this fall.

In Junior College:  Spent two seasons at Labette CC…a solid performer for the Cardinals.

In High School:  A talented prep athlete at St. Mary’s-Colgan High… an All-Conference and All-State selection as a senior for the Panthers… also a letterwinner in football and wrestling.

Personal:  Born March 4, 1992... son of Kelly and Karen Whetzell... has a 3.00 GPA as a physical education major.
