Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player…a talented running back who battled injury during the 2022 season… coming off a solid spring camp… ready to vie for a significant role in the Pitt State offense this fall… transferred to Pitt State from Lackawanna College.

In 2022: Saw action in six games… carried the ball 31 times for 135 yards (4.4 ypc) and one touchdown on the season… also caught two passes out of the backfield for five yards… carried the ball 10 times for 46 yards and a TD vs. FHSU (Nov. 12).

In Junior College: Spent one season at Lackawanna… carried the ball 90 times for a team-leading 494 yards (5.5 ypc) and two touchdowns… also caught seven passes out of the backfield… played his freshman season at Division II Shepherd University in 2018… rushed the ball for a team-leading 485 yards and four touchdowns.

In High School: The leading rusher in the state of Maryland as a senior at Suitland High School with 1,987 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns… a first-team All-County and second-team All-Metro selection.

Personal: Born February 4, 2000… son of Anthony Squire and Brenda Squire… a general studies major.
