Bryan Larson


Bryan Larson begins his fourth season as a member of the Pitt State coaching staff. He serves as the Gorillas offensive line coach and run game coordinator.

Larson’s offensive line helped the Gorillas average 32.1 points and 373.8 total yards per game in 2022. Three of his players – Trase Jeffries (1st team), Kory Woodruff (1st team) and Cooper Schettler (3rd team) – garnered All-MIAA honors. Jeffries and Woodruff also garnered All-America accolades.

In 2021, Pitt State led the MIAA in fewest sacks allowed (12). Additionally, Jeffries (1st team), Riley Teutsch (H.M.) and Woodruff (H.M.) received All-MIAA recognition.

Larson came to Pitt State after serving as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Toledo during the 2019 season. He primarily worked with the offensive line during his time with the Rockets.

Larson was an offensive lineman at Iowa State University from 2013-17. He began his career as a walk-on before earning a scholarship and lettering as a senior.

Larson earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Iowa State in 2017. He served the ISU program as a strength & conditioning intern in 2017 and as an offensive line student assistant in 2018.


Larson earned All-State honors as a senior at Humboldt (Iowa) High School in 2012. He also lettered in basketball and track.
