Pittsburg State Gorillas

Ross Benavides begins his second year as a graduate assistant on the Pitt State coaching staff. He assists the team’s recruiting and operations efforts.

Benavides comes to Pitt State after serving the past year as a Football Recruiting & Operations Intern at the University of Tulsa. Prior to Tulsa, Benavides served as an assistant coach at Augusta High School in 2018, while working towards his undergraduate studies at Wichita State University.

A Parsons, Kan., native, Benavides earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in sport management from Wichita State in December 2019.
