Taylor Godinet

Taylor Godinet begins his first season as a member of the Pitt State coaching staff. He serves as the Gorillas as defensive line coach.

Godinet came to Pitt State after serving the past six seasons as assistant director of recruiting / defensive quality control at Kansas State University. During his time on the Wildcats staff he assisted the director of recruiting with the management of recruiting operations and assisted with coaching defensive line (2015), defensive ends (2016-17, 2019-21) and defensive backs (2017-19).
 
Godinet also served as the interim defensive ends coach for K-State in March 2017, leading the position through spring football.
 
An Oceanside, Calif., native, Godinet played collegiately at K-State as a defensive end from 2010-14. He was the recipient of the 2014 Nancy Bennett Memorial Award and the 2013 Anthony A. Bates Memorial Award for the Wildcats. Godinet also was a member of the Big 12 Academic Honor Roll.

Godinet earned a bachelor's of science degree in sociology with an emphasis in criminology from K-State in December 2014.
