Biography

General: Sixth-year super senior… a talented offensive lineman who has made 33 career starts… a returning All-MIAA performer from 2022 and a 2023 PSU team captain… expected to contend for All-MIAA honors and beyond this fall.

In 2019-22: Started all 13 games in 2022, primarily at center… earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors… started all 11 games at guard in 2021… started three of four games played in 2020… started six of seven games played in 2019 before suffering a season ending injury and missing the final four weeks of the season.

In 2018: Redshirt season.

In High School:  A first-team Iowa Class 3A All-State performer as a senior at Carlisle High School in 2017… also a first-team All-District and first-team All-Conference selection… a three-year starter for the Wildcats… helped CHS to an 8-2 record his senior season.

Personal: Born September 15, 1999… son of Joe and Kristan Schettler… a finance major.
