Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player… a talented quarterback who provides a veteran presence for the Gorillas… will look to challenge for action under center again this fall.

In 2022: Saw action in six games in a reserve role... completed 12 of 16 passes (.750) for 98 yards on the season.

At UCA: Spent three seasons with the Bears… saw action in three games for UCA in 2021, completing 10 of 20 passes for 133 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

In High School: A two-time first-team Arkansas Class 7A All-State performer at Fayetteville High School (2017-18)… the two-time Class 7A West Player of the Year… an Arkansas Player of the Year Finalist… in 2018, completed 192 of 272 passes for 2,991 yards and 27 touchdowns with just two interceptions... also rushed 81 times for 408 yards and eight touchdowns... in 2017, completed 255 of 395 passes for 3,398 yards, with 34 TDs and five INTs... rushed 83 times for 377 yards and five TDs.

Personal: Born April 21, 2001… son of Danny and Pamela Bowers… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... earned a bachelor's degree in computer information systems... has a 3.75 GPA pursuing a master's degree in technology.
