Biography

General: Third-year player… a talented running back who had his 2019 season cut short due to injury… looking to bounce back and be an impact performer for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2018-19: Started in the 2019 season opener vs. UCO (Sept. 5) but exited the game due to injury… carried the ball four times for 23 yards vs. the Bronchos… exercised a medical redshirt season… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program in 2018.

In High School: A first-team Arkansas Class 4A All-State selection at running back as a senior at Pea Ridge High School in 2017… carried the ball 276 times for 2,285 yards (8.3 ypc), helping the Blackhawks reach the Class 4A state semifinals for a third straight year in 2017… rushed for 1,386 yards as a junior in 2016, helping PRHS advance to the Class 4A state championship game.

Personal: Born January 10, 2000… son of Dickie Winn and Kristi Welker… a management major.
