First-year player… transferred to Pitt State from Pratt Community College… a talented catcher who will look to make an immediate impact for the Gorillas this spring… In Junior College: Spent one season at Pratt C.C. … hit .353 with 11 doubles, 7 HRs and 43 RBIs as a sophomore for the Beavers in 2015, earning first-team All-Jayhawk Conference West honors… played his freshman season at St. Charles Community College… In High School:  An honorable mention All-State performer at catcher as a senior at Logan-Rogersville High School in 2012… Personal:  Born November 23, 1993… son of Jeff and Jana Schlesener… a communication major.
