Biography

General: Fifth-year player… a talented linebacker who is primed for a big redshirt junior season… a returning two-time All-MIAA performer… expected to be an impact player again this fall… has registered 95 career tackles (57 solo) with 10.0 tackles-for-loss and 1.0 quarterback sack.

In 2019-22: Saw action in all 13 games, including three starts, in 2022… compiled 37 tackles (21 solo) with 5.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.0 quarterback sack… also made two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery… garnered honorable mention All-MIAA recognition… started six of eight games played in 2021… posted 42 tackles (24 solo) with 2.5 tackles-for-loss on the season… made a season high 17 tackles vs. ESU (Sept. 25)… earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors… started three of four games played in 2020… made 16 tackles (12 solo) with 2.0 tackles-for-loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2019).

In High School: A Kansas Class 6A All-State selection as a senior at Gardner-Edgerton High School in 2018… also a first-team All-Sunflower League selection for the Blazers, helping the squad to a 10-1 record his senior season… a 2019 Kansas Shrine Bowl selection.

Personal: Born June 14, 2000… son of Chad Jennings and Kristen Gore… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and an MIAA Scholar Athlete… graduated with a bachelor's degree in physical education from PSU… currently sports a perfect 4.00 GPA while pursuing a master's degree in educational leadership.
