Third-year player… a returning All-MIAA infielder for the Gorillas… In 2021: Started all 44 games played… batted .252 with 34 runs scored, four doubles, 10 RBIs and 20 stolen bases… posted a .965 fielding percentage from his second base position… ranked second in the MIAA in stolen bases (20)… a third-team All-MIAA selection… In 2020: Started 18 of 19 games played… batted .342 with 19 runs scored, one double and nine RBIs… transferred to Pitt State from Johnson County Community College… In Junior College: Spent two seasons at Johnson County… a two-time honorable mention All-Jayhawk Conference selection (2018-19)… batted .308 with 48 runs scored, four doubles, 29 RBIs and 24 stolen bases as a sophomore in 2019… In High School: A two-time All-League selection at Maize High School… hit .385 with 33 runs scored, five doubles, 16 RBIs and 27 stolen bases to help lead the Eagles to the Kansas Class 5A state title… Personal: Born February 17, 1999… son of Stan and Cheri Hartman… a construction management major.
