Biography

General: Fourth-year player… a hard working defensive lineman who has matured into a frontline performer… expected to vie for significant action for the Gorillas again this fall.

In 2020-22: Saw action in 11 games in 2022…  posted 14 tackles (three solo) with 2.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 quarterback sacks…  competed in eight games in 2021… made four tackles (one solo) on the season… did not see any action in 2020.

In High School: A first-team Texas Class 6A All-District performer as a senior at Southlake Carroll High School in 2019… also earned honorable mention All-District honors in 2017-18… helped the Dragons to consecutive 13-1 seasons his final two prep years.

Personal: Born August 10, 2001… son of David Bunten and Andrea McGuire… a geographical and political sciences major.
