Biography

General: Fifth-year player… a two-time All-MIAA performer… a talented offensive lineman who is primed for a big season as a starting guard for the Gorillas again this fall… has made 30 career starts… selected a 2020 team captain.

In 2016-19: Started seven of 11 games in 2019… started all 11 games at offensive guard in 2018, earning second-team All-MIAA honors… started all 12 games in 2017, earning honorable mention All-MIAA honors… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2016).

In High School: A first-team All-District selection as an offensive lineman as a senior at McKinney North High School in 2015… helped the Bulldogs to an 11-3 record his junior season.

Personal: Born August 15, 1997… son of Robert Hampton and Yolanda Thomas… a general studies major.
