Pittsburg State Gorillas

In 2010-11: Saw action in all 26 games, including seven starts… averaged 5.3 points in 15.6 minutes per game… shot 33 for 90 from three-point range (36.7 percent)… went 6-9 from 3-point range to score a career-high 18 points against Emporia State on Feb. 16.

In Junior College: Spent two seasons at Cloud County CC… averaged 10.0 points and 1.5 assists per game as a sophomore in 2010…converted 108 of 262 shots from the field (.412) on the season... also made a team-leading 53 3-pointers on the year (53 of 148, .358)… shot 87.5 percent from the free throw line (42 of 48).

In High School: A two-time Kansas Class 5A All-State performer at Topeka’s Highland Park High School (2007-08)... helped the Scots to a 49-1 combined record his final two prep seasons, including back-to-back 5A state titles... averaged 14.2 points, three rebounds and two assists per game as a senior.

Personal: Born November 17, 1989... son of Steven and Jennifer Herrera… has a 3.20 GPA as a communication (broadcasting) major.
