Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: First-year player… joins the Gorillas from Springdale (Ark.) High School… a talented backcourt player… a dynamic scorer who will look to make an immediate impact for the Gorillas this winter.

In High School: A two-time Arkansas Class 7A All-State performer (2014-15) at Springdale High School… earned first-team All-State honors as a senior, averaging 20.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game… scored 25 or more points seven times his senior season… helped Springdale to a 24-6 record and the Class 7A state runner-up finish his junior season, scoring a game-high 30 points in the state finals… a 2015 Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star… also a two-time All-Conference football player for the Bulldogs.

Personal: Born January 30, 1997… son of Chester Owens and Carmen Dunbar… a physical education major.
