Cody Seidel begins his first year as an assistant coach in the Pittsburg State University men's basketball program. Seidel joined head coach Jeff Boschee from his staff at Missouri Southern State University.
Seidel spent four seasons on the MSSU coaching staff (2018-19 to 2021-22), including two years as a full-time assistant coach.
Prior to joining Boschee at Joplin, Seidel spent six years at Missouri State University, serving for three years each as the Director of Basketball Operations and as Video Coordinator.
He earned a bachelor's of science degree in math education from Missouri State and a master's of professional studies degree with an emphasis in sports management. A Jefferson City, Mo., native, Cody and his wife, Sara, have an infant daughter, Sophie.
