Pittsburg State University Athletics

Tyler is in his second season as a graduate assistant for the Pittsburg State University men's basketball program in 2023-24. McCormick joined head coach Jeff Boschee from his staff at Missouri Southern State University.

McCormick served as a student assistant for the Lions from 2019 to 2022. He earned a bachelor's degree in general studies and a coaching certificate from MSSU.

A native of Colfax, Ill., Tyler is the son of Jason and Gara McCormick. He is currently pursing  a master's degree in health and human performance from PSU.

McCormick is single and lives in Pittsburg.
