Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player… a talented guard with long-range shooting skills… will look to increase his role for the Gorillas this winter.

In 2012-2013: Appeared in 21 games for Pitt State in a reserve role…  averaged 2.0 points in 6.3 minutes of action per game… shot 11-for-24 from 3-point range (45.8 percent) on the season… took only five shots from the floor inside the 3-point arc… recorded a season-high eight points at Emporia State on Feb. 20.

In Junior College: Spent two seasons at Coffeyville CC… helped the Red Ravens to a pair of Jayhawk Conference championships and a regional title in his first season… averaged five points per game and ranked third in the Jayhawk Conference in 3-point field goal pct. as a sophomore… also an NJCAA Scholar Athlete.

In High School: A four-year starter at Coffeyville’s Field Kindley High School… a two-time Kansas Class 4A All-State performer… averaged 17 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game his senior season… also a two-time All-State quarterback in football for the Golden Tornado… helped Field Kindley to a 20-5 record and a fourth-place state finish his senior year.

Personal: Born June 22, 1991… son of Mike and Lynn Corday… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.95 GPA as an exercise science major.
