Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Fourth-year player… one of the premiere players in the MIAA and the Central Region of NCAA Division II… a two-time All-MIAA performer… a versatile athlete who is poised for another big season for the Gorillas this winter… has scored 1,137 points in 86 career games (13.2 ppg) to rank 10th on Pitt State's all-time scoring chart.

In 2015-16: Started all 28 games… averaged 15.4 points and a team-leading 5.1 rebounds per game… shot a team-leading 47.3 from the 3-point range (53-112)… shot 49.8 from the field (143-287) and 88.5 from the free throw line (92-104)… ranked second in the MIAA in free throw percentage and eighth in the conference in field goal percentage… scored in double figures in 22 games, including six games with 20 or more points… scored a career-high 34 points in the home opener vs. William Jewell (Nov. 15)… pulled down a season-high 10 rebounds and finished with his first double-double of the season vs. Emporia State (Feb. 6)… earned second-team All-MIAA honors.

In 2014-15: Started all 32 games… averaged 15.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game… shot 46.4 percent from the field (162-349), including 42.5 percent from 3-point range (48-113)… also shot 83.8 percent from the free throw line (124-148)… ranked eighth in the MIAA in scoring and fifth in the conference in free throw percentage… scored in double figures 26 times, including 10 games with 20 or more points… scored a career-high 26 points in the season opener vs. Augustana (Nov. 15)… also had a season-best eight rebounds vs. Central Oklahoma (Jan. 31)… earned first-team All-MIAA honors.

In 2013-14: Started 16 of 26 games played… averaged 8.1 points and 3.0 rebounds per game… shot 80.6 percent from the free throw line (54 of 67)… scored in double figures 10 times, including a season-high 16 points vs. Northwest Missouri (Dec. 5)… recorded a season-best five rebounds on five occasions.

In High School: A three-year starter and four-year letterman at Omaha’s Millard North High School… earned Gatorade Nebraska Player of the Year honors averaging 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists per contest…also was selected first-team All-Super State.

Personal: Born June 3, 1994… son of Gus and Julie Gustafson… a multiple-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.43 GPA as a management major.
