Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player… a talented wing player… coming off a solid junior season… expected to provide a veteran presence for the Gorillas this winter.

In 2011-12: Saw action in 30 of 31 games, including 14 starts… averaged 8.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 21.9 minutes… shot 42% (82 of 195) from the field including 40% (21 of 52) from behind the arc…recorded 45 steals and 44 assists last year…scored a season-high 18 points and 13 rebounds in the MIAA Tournament semifinals against NW Missouri State (Mar. 3)… scored in double figures 13 times on the season.

In Junior College: Spent two seasons at Seward County CC… averaged 12 points, eight rebounds, and two assists as a sophomore, helping the Saints to a 27-7 record… earned second-team All-Jayhawk Conference honors for the 2010-11 season.

In High School: A two-year starter at Wichita South… averaged 12 points, four rebounds, and one assist per game as a senior.

Personal: Born June 13, 1989… son of Doris Nolen… a physical education major.
