Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player… a talented frontcourt player who is primed for a big senior season… expected to play a key role in the Gorillas’ inside game again this season… transferred to Pitt State from Lewis & Clark College.
 
In 2011-12: Saw action in 21 games, including four starts… joined the squad following the end of the first semester… averaged 7.0 points and 3.8 rebounds in 18.5 minutes of action… shot 51.0 percent from the field (51 of 100) incuding 10 of 27 (.370) from behind the arc… led Pitt State with 28 blocked shots… scored in double figures four times, including a season-high 18 points in a win over Truman (Jan. 25)… posted nine points and a season-high nine rebounds in MIAA Tournament semifinals vs. NW Missouri State (Mar. 3).

In Junior College:  Spent two seasons at Lewis & Clark College… an All-Conference performer, averaging 17 points, eight rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots per game… helped the Trailblazers to a 26-7 record and a fourth-place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament as a freshman in 2009-10.

In High School: A first-team All-County performer at Santaluces High… helped the Chiefs to three straight district titles and a 51-9 combined record his final two prep seasons.

Personal: Born June 7, 1990… son of Maxo and Rose Pierrevilus… a physical education major.
