General: Completed his second season in the Pitt State program in 2024 after spending time at MIAA foe Emporia State University for the Hornets cross country and the track & field programs.

2024: Ran the 8k course at the MIAA Championships (Oct. 26) in St. Joseph, Mo., with a time of 24:57.7 to finish 33rd ... At the Central Region Championships (Nov. 9) in Joplin, Mo., ran the 10k course in a time of 31:41.5 ... Competed at the Division II Championships (Nov. 23) in Sacramento, Calif., with a finish of 31:53.3 in the 10k course.

2023: At the Central Region Championship (Nov. 4) in Joplin, Mo., he ran the 10k course in a personal-best time of 31:48.7 ... At the MIAA Championship (Oct. 20) ran the 8k course in Columbia, Mo., in a time of 25:33.9 and at the Division II Championships (Nov. 18) in Joplin, Mo., ran the 10k course in a time of 32:34.9.

Prior to PSU: A graduate transfer to Pitt State in August from MIAA foe Emporia State University where he competed in cross country and track & field at ESU

HS: A standout performer in cross country and track & field at Olathe East High School.

Personal: Born December 9, 2000 … Son of Lisa Grigsby-Young and Mark Young … A two-time MIAA Academic Excellence Award winner and member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a perfect 4.00 GPA as an information technology major while a Gorilla.
