Enters his fourth year in the Pitt State program... a talented middle distance runner… placed 5th in the 1500m at the 2017 MIAA Outdoor Championships... narrowly missed All-MIAA honors with a fourth-place finish in th 1,500 meters at the 2016 MIAA Outdoor Championships… has indoor PRs of 1:56.00 in the 800m and 4:13.73 in the mile and outdoor PRs of 1:54.81 in the 800m and 3:53.92 in the 1,500m… also a member of the Pitt State cross country team… In High School: A Missouri Class 3A state champion in the 1,600 meters at Warrensburg High School… also a stand-out prep cross country racer… Personal: Born March 2, 1996… son of Thomas and Deanna Burson… a member of the MIAA Acandemic Honor Roll… has a 3.65 GPA as a construction management major.
