Pittsburg State Gorillas

Enters his second year in the Pitt State track & field program… placed 6th in the javelin throw at the NCAA Division-II Outdoor Championship... has outdoor PRs of 15.31 in the 110 hurdles and 217' 6" in the javelin throw and indoor PRs of 8.58 in the 60m hurdles... also a member of the Pitt State football team… talented safety for the Gorillas this past fall… In High School: joins the Gorillas from Wichita Heights High School… the Kansas Class 5A state champion in the javelin and the state runner-up in the 100m hurdles in track & field… a Class 5A All-State performer as a defensive back in football and an All-State outfielder in baseball… Personal:  Born January 31, 1998 … son of Mario Sanders and Sonya Bess… a MIAA Scholar Athlete Award recipient... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll...  an exercise science major.
