HS: Prepped at Fairland High School for coach Chad Ross, where she was an NFCA Region II First-Team selection and four-year letter starter and captain ... In the circle her senior season, Schertz recorded 248 strikeouts with a 1.80 ERA and 25-7 record, as a hitter she hit .522 with 11 home runs and 55 RBI ... For her career at FHS she amassed 114 wins in the circle with a 1.40 ERA and 1,070 strikeouts, as a hitter she hit .467 with 35 home runs and 182 RBI.
