General: Completed her second season in the Pitt State program in 2024-25 after a highly successful prep career at Carl Junction High School ... A two-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll member.

2024-25: Appeared in 19 games off the bench for the Gorillas ... For the season she averaged 1.6 points and 1.1 rebounds a game in 5.4 minutes ... Scored a season-high seven points in 14 minutes against Rogers State (Jan. 15).

2023-24: Buerge saw action in 20 games as a reserve for the Gorillas ... Finished the season with 3.1 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists a game in 9.6 minutes ... Began the season with a bang scoring a season-high 16 points against Oklahoma Baptist (Nov. 10) making 4-of-8 threes in 29 minutes off the bench ... Provided four assists and five rebounds against Rogers State (Jan. 24) in 20 minutes of action.

HS: Buerge was a four-year letter winner for coach Brad Shorter at Carl Junction High School ... The single-season and career scoring leader for the Bulldogs with over 2,000 points at Carl Junction High School, Buerge was an All-State, All-District and All-Conference honoree during her prep career ... Named the 4 State Basketball Coaches Association - All Area Player of the Year following the 2022-23 season after averaging 23.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.2 steals and 3.5 assists per game as she helped lead the Bulldogs to a Class 5 runners-up finish with a 31-2 record ... Was one of the Magnificent 11's for the Ozarks Basketball Preview edition for the 2022-23 season.

Personal: Born Oct. 16. 2004 ... Destiny is the daughter of Tana and Rob Buerge ... Brother, Desmond basketball at Missouri State-West Plains (12-13), Cameron (13-14) and Missouri S&T (14-16) while sister, Desirae was a two-sport performer at MIAA rival Missouri Southern (15-19) and Division I Texas-Rio Grande Valley (19-21) splitting time as a basketball player and track & field thrower ... A two-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a 3.28 cumulative GPA as a business major at the conclusion of the 2024-25 school year.
