General: Enters her first season in the Pitt State program after a decorated prep career at North Forney High School.

HS: At North Forney High School for coach Jose Marrero Vega, Lawson on the volleyball court was a three-year starter for the Falcons, recording over 700 career kills and was named a team captain for her senior campaign.

Personal: Born March 16, 2007 ... Daughter of Corretta Barnes ... Plans to major in biology.
