MarKayla Dickie begins her second year as a graduate assistant on the Pitt State volleyball coaching staff. She assists with recruiting, scouting and coaching.
Dickie came to Pitt State after two years as a student-athlete at the University of Arkansas-Monticello. She was a second-team All-Great American Conference selection as well as a member of the All GAC Academic Team. During her time at UAM, Dickie also was a member of the department's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She played her first two seasons at San Jacinto Community College in Pasadena, Texas, helping her squad to consecutive conference championships in 2016-17.
A Huntsville, Texas, native, Dickie earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from UAM and she's pursuing a master's degree in sports and leisure service management.
