Pittsburg State University Athletics

Lauryn Leininger enters her second year as an assistant athletic trainer at Pittsburg State University through Freeman Health System. She works with the football and baseball programs. 

Prior to Pitt State, Leininger served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Midwestern State University for two years where she worked with Women’s Soccer. She also spent one year at Missouri Southern State University as a sports medicine assistant, covering volleyball and softball.  

Leininger earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Washburn University in 2017 and a master's degree in exercise physiology from Midwestern State University in 2020.
