PITTSBURG -- Local rain showers have prompted the Pittsburg State University softball and baseball teams to push back start times for their respective MIAA action Saturday (Mar. 30) by two hours.

The softball team, originally scheduled to face Missouri Western in a 12 Noon doubleheader, now will host the Griffons at 2 p.m. (CDT) at the PSU Softball Complex.

The baseball team will now complete a three-game series with Truman with a 3 p.m. game at Al Ortolani Field. The contest was originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. first pitch.

Kid's day activities scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gene Bicknell Sports Complex will start on time as planned.
