ST. CHARLES, Mo. — Lindenwood University used a pair of strong pitching performances to sweep an MIAA doubleheader from Pittsburg State University Saturday (Apr. 20) at the Lou Brock Sports Complex. The Lions limited the Gorillas to a pair of hits in a 4-0 victory in game one and LU broke open a 3-2 game with a four-run sixth inning in a 7-2 win in the nightcap.
The two teams will complete their three-game series with a 1 p.m. (CDT) contest Sunday (Apr. 21).
