GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — The Pittsburg State University baseball team overcame an early 2-0 deficit to Ouachita Baptist University Saturday (Feb. 7) to rally for a 7-3 victory over the Tigers in the QuickTrip Division II Classic.

The Gorillas (2-1) scored three times in the fourth inning and added single runs in the fifth, sixth, seventh and ninth frames.

Andrew Kreiling went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI while Andrew Vogelbaugh went 2-for-5 including a three-run homer in the top of the fourth inning.

Dylan Donley (1-0) worked 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to earn the win for the Gorillas.

Pitt State will close out the four-day classic format tournament Sunday (Feb. 8) with a 1 p.m. (CST) game against Southern Arkansas University.
