PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University baseball team will travel to Joplin, Mo., Tuesday (Apr. 19) to face Missouri Southern State University. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. (CDT) at Warren Turner Field.

The Gorillas enter the contest with a 10-27 overall record and a 5-23 mark in MIAA play. Pitt State claimed a 10-9 road win over the University of Nebraska-Kearney in its most recention action at Kearney, Neb., on Apr. 14. The Lions come in with a 26-13 overall record and a 16-12 mark in the MIAA. MSSU dropped its last two games on the road against the University of Central Missouri last weekend.

The Lions defeated the Gorillas, 10-9, in Pittsburg on April 23.
