PITTSBURG -- The Pittsburg State University baseball team will travel to Topeka Friday (Mar. 17) to open a three-game MIAA series against Washburn University.
The Gorillas and Ichabods will open the series at 4 p.m. (CDT) Friday at Falley Field, then play 1 p.m. games Saturday and Sunday (Mar. 18-19).
Pitt State is 8-15 overall and 2-7 in MIAA play. The Gorillas dropped a 6-3 decision to Bemidji State University in their last action Wednesday (Mar. 15).
WU is 13-7 overall and 5-4 in MIAA play. The Ichabods took two of three games against Northwest Missouri State University in their most recent action last weekend.
