PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University baseball team will open a three-game MIAA series against the University of Nebraska-Kearney Thursday (Apr. 13) at Al Ortolani Field. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. (CDT). The two teams will then face one another at 3 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday.

The Gorillas enter Thursday's action 14-22 overall and 8-14 in MIAA play. Pitt State claimed a 9-3 victory over Missouri Southern State University in its last outing Tuesday (Apr. 11). The Lopers, who are seeking to record their third straight win, are 13-23 overall and 6-17 in MIAA play.
