ST. CHARLES, Mo. — The Lindenwood University baseball team jumped out to a 7-0 lead and held on for a 7-4 victory over Pittsburg State University Sunday (May 7) in the regular season finale for both squads.
The Gorillas ended their season 23-27 overall and 17-19 in MIAA play. The Lions (31-17, 24-11 MIAA) advanced to the MIAA Postseason Tournament following a three-game sweep of Pitt State.
Colton Pogue paced the Pitt State offense with a 3-for-5 hitting day.
