PITTSBURG — The Lindenwood University volleyball team collected its fourth MIAA conference victory on the season with a five-set win over Pittsburg State University Friday (Oct. 12). The Lions defeated the Gorillas 23-25, 25-16, 25-20, 21-25, 15-11.
LWU (12-8, 4-6 MIAA) got a team-high 15 kills from Alexa Pressley, while Sadie Kosciuk added 14 kills. Allyson Clancy collected 59 assists for the Lions, while Emma Lattimore recorded 24 digs in the match.
Pitt State (15-8, 4-6 MIAA) hit just .189 in the match. Morgan Henning (16) and Lauren Regier (12) both tallied double digit kill totals for the Gorillas, while Brianna Richard recorded 45 assists.
Pitt State will return to action Saturday (Oct. 13) when the Gorillas host #16 University of Central Missouri at John Lance Arena.
