PITTSBURG, — No. 16 University of Central Missouri volleyball team defeats Pittsburg State University volleyball team in four sets on Saturday (Oct. 13). The Jennies defeated the Gorillas 25-18, 22-25, 25-22, 25-20.
UCM (17-6, 7-4 MIAA) placed two players in double figure kills with Audrey Fisher leading with 20 kills, and Kylie Bell (12). Ally Offerdahl added 48 assists for the Jennies, with Carly Offerdahl recording 19 digs.
Pitt State (15-9, 4-7 MIAA) hit only .180 as a team. The Gorillas had two players in double figure kills, Marissa Bates and Lauren Regier with 14 kills. Brianna Richard contributed with 38 assists and recorded a team-high 25 digs.
Pitt State will return back to action next week (Oct. 16) with a road match against University of Central Oklahoma Tuesday (Oct. 16).
